Different Types of Hair Dyes For Different Folks

Changing the color of your hair also changes the way you look. Depending on the person’s preference of how they want to look, most women change their appearances by changing hairstyles and hair color for certain reasons like wanting to look chic and sophisticated or serious and business like and some to look younger than they want to admit.

Appearances have a great influence in our lives, depending on how we want to present ourselves to others. Appearances however have to be maintained, using certain methods and routines. Take for example the people using black hair dyes to change the color of their hair. To be able to maintain the same hair color, they must also keep dying their hair black every few months or so when the color fades, depending on the quality of the type of dye that they use. For those who prefer long lasting colors, they should use permanent dyes. This type of dyes penetrates the hair shaft and absorbs the color until new roots grow and changes back to its natural color. But not everyone wants to be stuck with the same color for a long time, so some prefer to use semi-permanent dyes instead, which also penetrates the hair shaft but not as deeply as permanent dyes do. These hair dyes usually fade out after six to ten shampoo cycles. But the most common and popular dye used by the younger women now-a-days comes in the form of mousse, gels and sprays. These are temporary dyes which do not penetrate the hair shaft but rather, sit on top of the hair and does not really change the color but only gives highlight to the natural hair color. These can be easily removed and washed off.

Using dyes and hair colors also require hair care especially with its constant use. People using black hair dyes need black hair care routines to minimize hair damage.
